We will need the following resources:

Let’s start with installing Windows SideShow for Windows Mobile Developer Preview.

Make sure you follow the instructions.

Note: I suggest you to read the “README – Installation Instructions.rtf” file in addition to the instructions in the download page.

Then download and install Office PowerPoint Remote.

Now, let’s open the Windows SideShow (Control Panel –> SideShow), you will see that PowerPoint is added to the list of gadgets.

Don’t forget to check the checkbox next to the item to enable it.

Then open any PowerPoint file. In this demo I use Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.

Now it’s our WM device’s turn. Go to Programs, you can now see the Windows SideShow inside the list.

Run it.

Click Connect menu item.

Note: If you can’t connect your WM, go to Control Panel –> Bluetooth Devices of you PC, then right click on the Bluetooth device icon and choose Properties. Inside Services tab, make sure you allow your WM device to use Windows SideShow.

Once successfully connected we will need to select the primary user for the device.

Click Finish.
