PDC 2005 Day 5

Too many new technologies will come to us in the near future. A lot of interesting things to learn. PDC 2005 Day 4

Today after see Don Box presentation about Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), I have a very good discussion with Indigo Team about WS-* industry standards. Principal vendors like Microsoft still have a lot of jobs but overall Microsoft is a leader because Indigo covers many WS-* standards compared to other platform. We will deliver many Indigo issues to Indonesia developer community later.

MMC 3.0

MMC 3.0 programming sekarang bisa dilakukan dengan managed code. This is awesome !! Biasanya kita code pake MMC 2.0 SDK which is C++ based atau MMC.NET dari third party community. Sekarang akan lebih mudah.

PDC 2005 Day 3

Today I will attend to the keynote session first. Bill Gates will present first. After the keynote I want to see the following sessions:

- VSTS : Behind the Scenes of Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server
- MMC 3.0 : Developing Managed-Code Snap-Ins
- Groove : Building Enterprise Workgroup Application

PDC 2005 Day 2

Today I take a very interesting pre conference session, Framework Design Guidelines : The Art of Building a Reusable Class Library. Seems like this topic is very hard to be understood by developers but Brad Abrams and Krzystof Cwalina deliver it with down to earth style :). The presenters want the audiences to understand what they have written in their famous books.

At the afternoon I see presentation from Ron Jacobs. Its about Composite UI Application blocks. You can download his slides (15MB) from his blogs.

PDC 2005 Day 1

I am at PDC pre conference session to learn about WS, WS-I and WS-E. Many interesting features come with .NET 2.0 version. Just wait until we deliver it at Indonesia. Many interesting things presented by MVP Aaron Skonnard.

The first thing I read at INDC blogs is about feedback spam. We have solved it before and this time is new spam method. Lets find out what is that :)
